The Challenge: John Thackara, author of “Within the Bubble” held a lecture series on campus and requested promotional materials for the event, as well as a takeaway to provide event attendees, and shirts to sell at the lecture.
The Solution: A design containing three statistics themed in biomimicry. As a species, we think we are superior to nature in so many ways; these stats show that nature can educate us in many ways. Animals and even plants are more adapted to survive than we could hope to be. The color palette is based on different elements of nature, such as water, earth, and plant life, with the overall design using depth and contrast to appear bold and eye-catching.
